First and foremost, Tres is an ANDROID NOT A ROBOT!!!!! What's the difference? Robots.... don't have to look human, and usually lack human things like a human brain.. etc. Androids appear as humans but they have a steel chassis, and androids usually have some human parts carried over aside from appearance. Okay this is the pic I did for the contest, it basically said you had to do a deviation of a favorite character/musician/person... etc.... right now my fav is Tres and I've been wanting to draw him for a long while now anyhow. =_= I don't like this picture all that much.... I need a LOT of practice... especially on his dual M13 Jerichos.... they look SO bad ~glooms~ I only did Tres on the left and the colorful BG, the rest are scans of him from the volume 2 manga, although the bottom one is from a volume that hasn't been released yet.

Anyhow about the work, I found myself stuck on which style I was going to use for him... I had two options: the anime version, and the manga version. I chose the manga version (which I know I shouldn't have because it is uber detailed), the anime style was too... I dunno..."pointy".... and I didn't like him that pointy. Anyhow everything you see.. EVERYTHING... the lineart to the colors had it's own layer.. therefore in the end I had.. more layers than I could count. ~_~;\ Umm.. what else.. OH! I didn't draw that chained cross he wears around his neck like he does in the manga... it was too much work for me to do and I wasn't up for that. Another thing I didn't draw: his holsters for the M13s... D:< I AM TOO BUSY FOR THAT! =3= Besides... it was obscure his tushie... ~is shot~ Nonetheless.. all on it's own that's a lot of details I had to go over and pay special attention to. Well that's that.. here's a lil' info about Tres Iqus:

Tres is an android and also a member of the AX team. Weighs 200 kg (300 Ibs)His ultimate weapon is a gun (Two M13 Jerichos, known as the largest hand guns that require lots of skill to handle), which explains his codename: Gunslinger. Seeing as how Tres is an android, he has no blood or heart.
If Tres gets orders from Lady Caterina, he follows them because he was programmed to do that. He also supposedly has no emotions whatsoever, but that turns out to be not-so-true. But it is true that whatever emotions he does have rarely show.
He's not very talkative. He usually replies with "Positive" or "Negative". But if he uses full sentences, then he's asking something or explaining something.
According to the official Trinity Blood website, Tres' brain is part human ("made entirely of machines, save for part of his brain"). This suggests that he is somewhat capable of having human feelings, somewhat displayed in an episode in which he was ordered to shoot a little witch girl and did not.
His name, Tres Iqus, is actually Latin for III X, which is his development number.
